On our last long adventure we carried a SPOT tracking device, allowing us to share our current location with readers. This time around, we opted instead to carry a PLB (personal locator beacon) for emergency assistance and will manually update this location page from our phones when time allows. Do Not Worry!!! If we have not updated recently we’re probably just busy hiking or doing chores in town. If something does go unexpectedly wrong we can immediately notify rescue services with our PLB via satellite.
Since we’re having to hop around a bit due to snowpack, weather or other stuff, we indicate direction of travel (NOBO / SOBO) and side quests where applicable.
